It’s really hard to find good heavy metal vinyl collections, this is a rare exception. I managed to pick this one up with someone in Pittsburgh who answered my ad seeking vinyl collections. I paid a pretty penny for this collection, but it’s well worth it as is all the vinyl is in near-mint condition and contains many HUGE TILES (most first press). Check out this video of the unboxing.
You could check out this page where I listed the contents of all these albums, they are from the golden age of metal circa 1984 to 1989. A lot of good thrash metal and some hard to find hair metal records.
Game Over is the debut album by Nuclear Assault. Most fans consider it their best. Nuclear Assault came into being after Anthrax bassist Danny Lilker was fired from Anthrax because he wanted to pursue more aggressive forms of music. After recording a handful of demos and doing some heavy touring the band signed to Comat Records and released Game Over. The album received a lot of critical acclaims and is considered by many to be the band’s best album.

Cryptic Slaughter was formed in 1984 by Les Evans (age 17), Scott Peterson (age 14) and Adam Scott (age 15), who met through their mutual participation in the American Youth Soccer League (AYSO). Soon they were joined by Bill Crooks (age 15), a friend of Adam Scott and a fellow soccer player. Adam Scott was let go a few months later due to conflicts regarding his parents and school. Their first demo, Life in Grave, was produced in 1985 and became well circulated in the burgeoning tape-trader underground. Their first full-length LP, Convicted, was released in 1986 on Death/Metal Blade records, whose artist roster also boasted D.R.I., Corrosion of Conformity, Dr. Know, The Mentors, and Beyond Possession. Within its first year of release, Convicted sold over 25,000 copies and earned Cryptic Slaughter the reputation as being one of the fastest bands in hardcore.

Morbid Visions is the debut studio album by Brazilian heavy metal band Sepultura, released on November 10, 1986, by Cogumelo Records. While later albums have a more political edge, Morbid Visions (along with the Bestial Devastation EP) is notable for “Satanic” themes. The band said many lyrics were fashioned after those of Venom and Celtic Frost (note the similarity of the album title to Morbid Tales). (Source: WIKIPEDIA)
Interviewer: Morbid Visions is a legendary record, not just because of Jairo T.’s afro, but also because of how raw and neanderthal-like the production is. Did you set out to make it sound that raw?
Igor: [Laughs] Jairo’s ‘fro was epic! The reality is that we were trying to record extreme music in a country were no studios ever recorded this kind of crap before, so its sound was pure instinct. (Source)

Agent Steel: If You Can Get Past The High Pitch Vocals – You Have And Awesome Thrash Band
Mad Locust Rising is an EP by American speed metal band Agent Steel, released in January 1986 by Combat Records. It was recorded at Indigo Ranch Studios in October 1985 in Malibu, California. The EP features a cover of the Judas Priest song “The Ripper”. It is also included on the 1999 reissue of the 1987 album Unstoppable Force. Former bassist Mike Zaputil is credited on the album, but the bass tracks were actually recorded by George Robb, who was then fired after the recordings, while Zaputil joined in early 1986 from Letchen Grey.
