2 Handwritten Letters Between Varg Vikernes (Burzum) & Messiah (Mayem)

$499.95

2 Original Handwritten Letters Between Varg Vikernes (Burzum) & Messiah (Mayhem Circle) – Extremely rare pair of original handwritten letters exchanged between Varg Vikernes (Burzum / Count Grishnackh) and Messiah from the early Mayhem circle.

These period letters date to the formative years of the Norwegian black metal scene and carry the unmistakable hallmarks of the era — including the distinctive style, signatures, and iconography associated with Vikernes at the time (runes, aliases such as Count Grishnackh / Greifi Grishnack, etc.). They form part of a small group of correspondence that surfaced with strong claimed provenance linked to the Kråkstad house and early Mayhem associates.

Material of this nature almost never reaches the open market. Original handwritten communication involving Varg Vikernes from the early 1990s, especially pieces connected to the Mayhem orbit, ranks among the most sought-after and historically charged artifacts in the entire black metal collecting world.

These are not copies, scans, or later reproductions — they are genuine period documents. Ideal for serious collectors of Norwegian black metal history, Burzum, Mayhem, and primary-source material from the second wave’s most notorious years.

Serious inquiries only. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.

  • Signed using Greifi Grishnack, Varg Vikernes, and Count Grishnack / “the Count.”
