The album combines black metal and thrash metal elements, ultimately creating a black metal-influenced thrash sound inspired by bands like Venom, Mercyful Fate, and Bathory. On this album both Petrozza and Reil share vocal duties. Kreator’s Endless Pain was released in 1985 with very raw production. It is now a cult classic.

Endless Pain was the debut LP by German thrash metal legends Kreator. The production on the original was very raw and unpolished. The band was obviously very young and clearly imitating other early extreme metal bands like Venom.
Endless Pain was released in 1985 on Noise Record.
Millie Petrozza and Ventor are both “lead singer” on the album.
The album is classified as black metal or thrash metal, as it combines element of both, along with the slopyness and agression of early punk and hardcore.
The retro popularity of the album along with the rebound in interest in thrash metal vinylmake Endless Pain a frequent target of bootleggers, as there are server “unofficial” versions out there, none of which the band receives royalties from. This is what the art should look like.
