Graveland – Thousand Swords LP (2026 Isengard Distribution – AI 01) – Official 2026 Isengard reissue of the Polish pagan black metal classic, pressed on 180-gram black vinyl in a 3mm rough reverse-board jacket with two inserts. This is the only edition that faithfully reproduces the original Isengard tape/CD layout and center labels, and the first to use the original cover photo since the 1990s pressings.

Recorded in December 1994 at Tuba Studio (Wrocław), Thousand Swords captures early Graveland at full force: raw, loose, and feral, with Capricornus on drums, Karcharoth on bass, and Rob Darken’s raspy vocals, jangling guitars, and sparse keyboards. Epic Slavic pagan themes of war, ancestral blood, and medieval gloom drive tracks like “Blood of Christians on My Sword,” “The Dark Battlefield,” and the title cut. Essential early Polish black metal—cold, triumphant, and uncompromising.
