- Cranium/skull bone fragment from Per Yngve Ohlin (Dead of Mayhem, 1969–1991).
- Purchased in 1991 from Stian Johanssen (Occultus), then vocalist/bassist in Mayhem.
- Acquired by the writer around 2005–2006 via a friend; the writer traveled to Norway to buy it directly from Stian.
- Previously kept in a small glass box at Euronymous’ flat (Töyengatan 40B, 4th floor, Norway). Euronymous reportedly dropped the original glass box and moved it to another container.
- Euronymous is said to have also possessed a small piece of brain matter, which he sent to Morgan (Marduk) along with a bullet and another fragment.
- The fragment is described as having been collected from the scene of Dead’s suicide.
- Other pieces are claimed to have gone to: IT (Abruptum), Morgan (Marduk), Hellhammer (who later lost his), Niklas Kvarforth, and later a vocalist from Varathron (Greece).
